It really ok to say "我", and it is you who is going to be happy.
I want to do something, especially, when you need someone's help. we would like to say "我想要", it is a little polite than the "我要"。“幫”, it happens very offen in oral, "幫助" should be in the writing. "讀書" usually means a stage, a child grow up and she/he should go to school, we say"她/他要去讀書/上學了", and he is still a school boy not graduated for work, we say"他還是個在校學生/他還在讀書/他還在念書，還沒有畢業工作". So, what does he do?他在讀書/上學/念書.
something is going happen or supposed to be happen in the future, we would add "將" in front of that verb.
