Why riders do not prefer to use motorcycle lane on highway during night?

Usually after 7 p.m., some of riders do not use the lane because they worry if there are robbers trying to rob them. Plus, the lane also lack of road lamp causing the night vision becomes short. Furthermore, as the light is not sufficient, they do not know the condition of the road because usually the lane is poorly-maintained. Therefore, maybe it will cause damages to the motorcycle if they hit the holes and rising risk to them. Besides that, the lane can be slippery during and after raining. So, it can be too dangerous to them as the lane has many ramps and sharp corners. The lane also too narrow and may causing collisions between motorcycles.
