I am an California girl living in Shanghai, China. I spent four elementary school years in Shanghai, but attending international schools and therefore never picked up on Shanghainese. However, English is my mother language and I am pretty fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing, speaking). I am currently looking for someone who can help me learn Shanghainese! It's bought a book, but I'm afraid that I'm not pronouncing the words correctly because there are no marked accents. Thank you! :)
