First notebook entry: Introducing myself

My name is Zhang Haijun.  In Chinise Chinese, "haijun" means "ocean military", in another words, a navy. So,you can also 1 Call me Navy if you wish.  I like to share my language and some instring interesting things with you! Come on,aboard 2 my freind friend!

You must learn how to capitalize.  If not, ask and I will give you some links.

1. "You can call me so and so" sounds like you are more superior than the person is referring.  This is very rude in English.  It is like, "你可以叫我 XXX" vs "叫我 XXX 就可以了."語氣不同, 一个是藐視另一个是親切些. 如果我中文再加一句, "明嗎", 我就是藐視你的英文.  在這兒就對你不敬了.

2.  Come aboard (快來上來 ie 搭乘) is a naval term.  It means come on to the ship.  Now the term also means to "join us/me"
