First notebook entry: Introducing myself

I'm a dental student in Phoenix, Arizona. My wife and I are going to Thailand for this first time this summer and I really want to learn some Thai. I've done Pimsleur's Thai but now I feel like I need a friend to talk with and ask questions. I probably should have been writing this entry in Thai but I'm nowhere near that level of fluency!
