HUNGARIN VOWELS By TYPE

Back vowels: a, á, u, ú, o, ó

Front vowels:

Rounded front vowels: ö, ő, ü, ű

Unrounded front vowels: e, é, i, í


VERB GROUPS

Group I: back or back and front vowels' steam - back vowel's suffixes.
(many verbs which contain only i and/or í are in this group)

Group II: front vowels' steam - front vowel's suffixes.

Group III: front vowels' steam, the last vowel is ö, ő, ü or ű - front vowel's suffixes; suffix with ö if it exists.


VERBS

Group I verbs: olvas, sétál, magyaráz, tanul, vár, stb.; hív, indít, ír, nyit, tisztít, stb.

Group II verbs: beszél, ért, keres, szeret, stb.

Group III verbs: ül, köszön, kerül, küld, tölt, stb.


EXAMPLES Of The VERB CONJUGATION

1st person singular suffixes: -ok, -ek, -ök (indefinite conjugation)

olvasok, beszélek, ülök

1st person singular suffixes: -om, -em, -öm (definite conjugation)

tanulom, értem, köszönöm
