An Exotic Day In a Turkish Bath - Sounds Good :) I'd like to write about turkish bath (hamams), because I like them personally like many turkish guys. Turkish baths are probably the most mysterious places to go in Turkey. Also the most erotic one. It's a place where you find material and spiritual peace, where you cleanse yourself off the dirt of the material world, in that sense you can't compare it to any other temples in the world. Since roman and ottoman times it was the place of socializing. Thats why we still say "banio" for bath in turkish. With christianity these places were closed in europe. But for islamic turkish culture water was very important so they upgraded, built many more baths all over the empire with new styles and customs. and in anatolia baths were deeply rooted in people. It's central to the turkish culture and especially to women. Although not popular as before women loves to gather in these baths, bringing their food, singing, chatting, laughing all the time. But you must go with a group of friends if you really want to enjoy :) Because it could be scary at first seeing all different women halfnaked bathing, massaging each other. But you can relax because men and women are separate in these baths. So it becomes a very feminist place actually. Usually some older women bath you, massage you, but also talks to you, complimenting your body usually, in a minute you start to feel like the most beautiful woman there :) Really it's one of the rare places all different types of woman feel free about their bodies, appearances etc. They really become woman there. It all happens under the exotic dome of the bath. There are many windows called elephant eyes on this high dome letting different colors of light shine on you. These elephant eyes cries water as little water drops falling onto your body. With the vapours of water it becomes a very mystical environment. For men it's the same idea. Many halfnaked men lying on stones. And other men washing massaging them. But personally I think women have more fun. The washing ritual is actually takes 2 hours. But I can't write here all the details. But I advice it to everybody coming here. You will feel like angels after this in a real world.
