You can be disciple of a Teacher of Hindi language, As Devi mentioned can't be a student of a language.

So you can say-

Main Hindi sikhna chahti hoon=I want to learn english.

Or

Main Hindi Adhyapak(Teacher) ki chhatra hoon.

You cannot be a disciple (chhatra) of a language...which is what your sentence currently states. You can say "Main hindi padh rahi hoon" = I'm studying hindi or "main hindi padhna chahti hoon" = i want to study hindi.
