Farsi present continuous tense

I just constructed a few present continuous sentences, and I wonder whether they are grammatically correct:

دو نامه را دارم دريافت مى كنم
I am receiving two letters
برق را دارم روشن مى كنم
I am turning on the electricity
مطالعاتم را دارم شروع مى كنم
I am beginning my studies
از كارم دارم استفا مى دهم
I am resigning from my job

Never mind whether it makes much sense to use present continuous here, I only made up these sentences for practic.

In our dialy speaking we say(برق را دارم روشن مى كنم ) as you said and we do not say (برق را دارم وصل مى كنم). this sentence sounds unfamiliar to me.
