First notebook entry: Introducing myself
I am learning [see suggestions] because I want to study abroad and work in the Philippines as a doctor. :D
My native language is Indonesian and I grew up in Indonesia.
I enjoy everything that makes me happy. :D

Filipino is the official language of the Philippines. Tagalog is a local dialect. However majority of the Filipino words are acquired from Tagalog and so that is why others refer to Filipino (language) as Tagalog.
