kharidam or خریدم is a simple verb.

Man an miz ra emruz tamiz kardam.

من آن میز را امروز تمیز کردم.

tamiz kardam or تمیز کردم  is a compound verb.

You've written this sentence in Simple Past Tense.  Look at some more examples:

Transitives:

1- Simple verbs:

من دیروز حیاط را شُستَم.         I washed the yard yesterday.

تو خانه را فُروختی.              You sold the house.

او یک کتاب جدید خَرید+0.        He bought a new book.
ما بچه ها را به پارک بُردیم.      We took the kids to the park.

شما نامه ها را خواندید.             You read the letters.

آنها همه کیک را خوردَند.           They ate all the cake.

All these sentences are transitive ones and the red colored words are the s conjugations. The purple ones are the objects. In this set of sentences I have put only the simple verbs. Now look at the second set:

2- Compound Verbs:

من دیروز همه کارهای خانه را انجام دادم.       I did all the housework yesterday.

تو خانه را تَعمیر کردی.                      You repaired the house.

او یک کتاب (را) پست کرد+0.                He posted a/the book.

ما آن بچه ها را تنبیه کردیم.                     We punished those children.

شما آشپزخانه را تمیز کردید.                 You cleaned the kitchen.

آنها باغ را آب دادند.                         They watered the garden.
