Nowadays, the ways of children’s education has highly been concerning by our community. While some people argue that parenting is mainly responsible for young generation’s growth, others believe that children should benefit from schooling if they want to be a good member of society.
It is worldwide-accepted fact that parental involvement plays a vital role in children’s education. One of the main reasons for it is that not only do parents as a first teacher help their children explore the world by right way, but also only they know their child enough well. To take Einstein as an example, without his mother’s encouragement and cultivation on him, nobody could image Einstein who can not be accepted at school when he was a little boy would has became one of the most outstanding scientist. However, it is insufficient if we just take account into parenting as an entire contributing factor to an individual’s development.
On the other hand, besides the impact of parenting, young generation’s values also have been affected by schooling. At school, children will acquire academic knowledge, and understand the importance of the disciplines and rules of a whole community. As a result of it, they can equip with themselves by utilizing knowledge and obey rules of society in their rest of lives. Furthermore, children will associate with people from a whole variety of backgrounds from the wider society. They will learn to how to cooperate with peers and how to contribute to the life of their community.
To sum up, it is not possible to attribute an individual’s growth to one single influencing factor. In order to be a valuable member of community, children need learn something continuously form every aspect of a whole community. Therefore, I believe that it is every member of society that is responsible for young generation’s development.
