In the heaven,there had 7 fairy sisters,they were daughters of Queen mother.One day,the seven fairy sisters left heaven secretly landed in the earth for fun.They saw a beautiful river and took shower in the river.The old buffalo knew it and told cowherd.The cowherd came to the river and stole one of fairy's dress.After fairies ready for flying back to heaven,the youngest fairy named weaving maid could not find her dress.The cowherd rushed out of grass and pleaded the girl to be his wife.Weaving maid looked at cowherd and thought he looked like an honest,intelligent young man.So she was in love with him and agreed with getting married with cowherd.They got along well with each other and lived very happily.The weaving maid also gave birth to one boy and one girl for corherd.Day by day,the buffalo died from old age.And before the buffalo died,it told cowherd,"I am too old to live,after I die,you must have to peel my skin and keep it,it will be helpful in someday."The cowherd and weaving maid were sad about their friends' death.But Queen mother found her youngest daughter wasn't in the heaven.So she was angried and decided to punish them.She asked soldiers to take weaving maid back.The cowherd saw his wife was caught,so he put his babies in baskets and carried them and then covered his skin by the old buffalp's skin,then the miracle happened,he started flying!When he almost touched weaving maid,the mother queen appeared again.She scribing a line in the air by using her hair clasp,then the line became a wide river.(so the river was called milk river.) The cowherd could not cross the river.But he did not want to leave and stayed aside the river to watch his wife.Meanwhile,the weaving maid was also watching her love by the other side.Year by year,the mother queen was eventually touched so she allowed them to meet each other in each year on the 7th of the 7th lunar month.At the day,billions of magpies will come together to bulid a magpies bridges for them.Hence their meeting date has been called "Qi Xi" (Double Seventh).At finally, all shall be well,jack shall have jill(a chinese saying goes:愿天下有情人终成眷属！^^)
