Practice Exercise

This Time there is a different Exercise. This time I want you to try forming sentences yourself.

I have asked you 5 Qs try to answer  them.

1. Apka pasandeeda abhineta kaun hai? Aur Kyun? (Which is your fav actor and Why?)

2. Aap Hindi kyun seekhna chahti hain? (Why do you want to learn Hindi?)

3. Agar aapko mauka miley... (if you get a chance)

Aap kin deshon ki yatra karna chahengi? - What countries would you like to visit.

4. Italki mitron ke liye aapka koi sandesh? (Any message for Italki friends)

5. Apko Madhya Poorva (Middle East) ke barey mein sabse zyada kaya pasand hai? - What do you like the most about Middle East.

(If there is something you wanna say but don't know the words for it.Just right it in English with * mark and I will give you the Hindi for it)

Corrections

1.  Train pakadne ki koshish mein main apna bag platform par bhool gai.

while I was trying to catch the train I forgot my bag on the platform. - Perfect!

Pakadna = To Catch - Bhoolna = To forget

Kal main vayast thi. - yesterday I was Busy 

Vayast = Busy  (مصروف masroof in urdu)

3. kal ka din bahut dilchasp tha. - Yesterday was very funny or interesting . दिलचस्प - Dilchasp - Interesting - Good

4. Main chahti hoon ki Iraq mein Khush-hali ho - I hope want or wish that Iraq in prosperity or in good state

Chahna = to Wish or to Want

Asha Karna or Ummeed karna is To Hope

So a more correct translation would be

I want Prosperity to be there in iraq.

Main apne desh, parivaar aur sabhi doston se bahut pyar karti hoon

I love your my country ,family and all your friends a lot.

7. Kal raat mainey ek bahut bura sapna dekha. - yesterday I had a night mare( I saw bad dream)  - Perfect!

8/ Jab mai ghar jaa raha tha tab baarish hone lagi - while I was going out ,it rained

Ghar Jana - To go home

Ghar se bahar jaana - to go out (from home)

So a more correct translation would be

When I was going home, It started to rain.

9. Italki meri manpasand sites mein se ek hai. - I talki is my favorite site. Perfect!

Urdu is sweet or beautiful language .- 10. Urdu ek meethi zabaan hai. - Very Good

Urdu aur Hindi seek nay ki pehli koshish ma grammer mushkil lagraha ta,kyunki mere pass kitabain aur Internet nahi ta.lakin mere koshish dilechsp ta.

Urdu aur Hindi seek nay ki pehli koshish may grammer (Qawaid in urdu)(Vyakaran in Hindi)mushkil lagraha tha,kyunki mere pass kitabain aur Internet nahi thi.lakin meri koshish dilchasp thi.

Urdu aur Hindi seek nay Seekhney ki meri pehli koshish mein grammer mushkil lag rahi thi, - In my first attempt to learn Hindi and Urdu Grammer was looking difficult

kyunki mere pass kitabain aur Internet nahi tha. - Becuase I didn't have books and internet.

lekin mere koshish dilchasp thi. But my attempt was interesting

Notes:

1. Meri Koshish MEIN - In my attempt

Bachchey ko bachaney ki koshish mein uski maa ghayal ho gayi -  In an attempt to save the child his mother got injured.

2. Hindi for Grammer is Vyakaran (Vya-Karan) - व्याकरण

3. Was in Hindi for a masculin Noun is THA (Not Ta) - था

Jab tumne phone kiya main so raha tha - When you called I was sleeping.

Was for a singular Fem noun is THI - थी- (not Ti)

Jab tumhare ne Papa ne mujhey propse kiya main keval 21 saal ki thi - When your father proposed me I was just 21 years old.
