Farsi is challenging

learning languages is one of my greatest passions. Since I was young, I examined words to learn their meanings. I continue to do it today in new languages because I want to build a bridge between myself and people who may not speak english.
Sometimes it is difficult to experience a culture without the false influence of what people say. I have committed myself to learning the persian language even though it is very different from english.
I have found that it is more difficult than I expected it to be. I have been learning Farsi for about a month now. I understand that most persians don't use vowels when writing ( I am still learning to read and write). It can be so easy some days and nearly impossible to understand on other days. I have given up maybe three or four times now, but I am drawn to learning this language. I just want to thank all of you for offerring your feedback to my questions. It is so helpful to me. I won't give up. by next year, I want to be conversational in the Persian language.
