First notebook entry: Introducing myself

I am learning to speak Hebrew because I love the language and would really love to learn it. For now I would rather learn to speak it, rather than write it. I speak English and have grown up in Australia all my life, though I know a little bit of various other languages such as Spanish, French, German, and Italian.

I enjoy writing and reading, as well as doing anything creative in an imaginative or artist way. I also love photography and animals. I have always liked Israel, though I haven't yet had the chance to visit it, and I have friends from the country as well. I am excited to learn Hebrew and can speak small sentences already. I am a fast learner, so I try to learn as much as I can in a shorter time period.
