パレードから家に帰った

彼らが一番（先頭？）にいくと（到着したとき）、わたしたちみんなは「Happy Holidays」とさけんで全部（or全て）のクリスマスライトをがついた。 

 When they got to one, we all shouted "Happy Holidays" and all of the Christmas lights came on.

「彼らが」も入れないと、主語が分かりずらいと思います。

質問です。

「When they got to one」は、「一番にいく」と訳されていますが、

「ひとつになる」という考え方は、間違いですか？

I just got home from the parade. 

ぱれーどから家に帰った（もどったところ）！

Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the Chippendales, Donald and Daisy Duck, and Goofy were there as well as lots of marching bands.

たくさんのマーチングバンドとおなじくらい、ぱれーどのなかでMickeyとMinnie MouseとChippendalesとDonaldとDaisy DuckとGoofyがいたわ。そうして、たくさんのマーチングバンドもいた。 

It brought back childhood memories.

こどものころのきおくをかえしたがもどったの。

At the start of the parade Mickey and Minnie Mouse counted.  

パレードのスタート（はじめ）にMickeyとMinnie Mouseがかずをかぞえたわ。

When they got to one, we all shouted "Happy Holidays" and all of the Christmas lights came on. 

一番にまでいくとわたしたちみんなで「Happy Holidays」とさけんで、全部のクリスマスライトをがついたの。 

It was fun and cold. 
たのしくて寒かった。

My sister and I stuck close together in order to stay warm.

私と芋等いもうとは温めたままとあたたまるためにいっしょにくっついた（そばにいた）の。

 My sister doesn't like touching, but today, there was no excuse! (It couldn't be helped)  

芋等いもうとは触られるのが好きじゃない。だってけど今日は、いいわけだもんさせない　（しかたがないのねよ）~o~ 

Afterwards, because the train was so crowded, we had to stand in line in order to pay. 
そのあとで、でんしゃがこみすぎたから、はらうためにと列に待ってなきゃいけなかった。

Luckily, I got a seat on the train. 

でんしゃにうんよくてせきをえた。電車に運良く席を得た

P.S. I did wear my boots. My feet still hurt, but it was better than yesterday.

パレードが終わって家に帰った！パレードではMickeyとMinnie MouseとChippendalesとDonaldとDaisy DuckとGoofyがいた。そうして、たくさんのマーチングバンドも演奏していた。
