First notebook entry: Introducing myself

I am learning Turkish,I want to take a travel to Turkey. so I need this language and I do love Turkish because it is a beautiful language.

"take a travel" - It doesn't sound so good to me, i don't know why but "take a tip" sounds better, to me.

or simply. "i want to travel to Turkey" 

I think because the word following, "take a" should be a noun and "travel" is a verb
