First notebook entry: Introducing myself

I'm learning Yucatec Maya because I just think it is a beautiful & interesting language! I am a native English speaker and grew up in Los Angeles, CA. I love animals and want to go to veterinary school. On the side, I love to study about pre-Columbian history of the Americas, astronomy, gardening, DIY home crafting projects.
