Advice for students stadying in the Russia
The popular stereotype of Russian is that we are hospitality, we have "open heart" and "golden hands". Our people also can make fun for any reasons. Sometimes we like crazy people. Russian is lazy enough and love a holiday and celebration. Many foreigners think so our people are untidy and unsmiling. Probably at first lots of people on the streets and public places seem are moody, stressed and unhappy. It's not true. But Russian women are the most attractive and beautiful in over the world according to foreigners.
2) Food
Russian meals are completely tasty and nourishing. But there aren't too many places where you can try this. Among multinational food Russian choose foreign food is similar to the Japanese, Italian and American. If you want to try our national meals, you should go to countryside. Their hostess cooks delicious potatoes, "shchi", porridge and differents pies.
3)Holiday
This is completely different from Europe. There are a lot of holiday in Russia like week after new year, May's holiday, Women day, the 23 February and the Day of National Unity. Our governmant usually combines it with weekends. So we get about one month holiday each year!
4) Living costs
Compared with the European country for clothes, technic, entertainment. But our costs is normally a lot cheaper for food and water in the shops and everyday using things. Unfortunately costs in the restaurant more expensive for smaller serving then in other countries for bigger serving.
5) Time and temperature
The Russia is an enormous country and there are 11 time zones. So when it's 10 a.m. in Moscow, it's 5 p.m. in the Far East. The climate coditions are rather different from arctic and moderate to continental and subtropical. If you want to travel around our country. you must have large set of different clothes from swimsuit to fur coat!
