I have learned in this translation that I can't look up all Português individually.because there are words that mean something totally different if I leave off a preceding or following word.
Case in point: the word criada by itself means maid or servant. I got stuck on this part of the translation. However if I put 'criada em' together it means created in which is light years away from meaning maid.
Also I am finding a lot of Português words mean 'to' adnd finding it difficult to keep up with the different meanings of 'to'. I have ordered a grammar book so hopefully I be able to tell the difference soon.
