First notebook entry: Introducing myself

Ik studeer het Nederlands in Belgie. Ik woon in Vlaanderen en ik wil praten met jou!

Het laatste stukje is niet echt fout, maar een Nederlandstalige zou eerder zeggen: Ik wil met jou praten. Bovendien is dit denk ik niet exact wat je bedoelt. Als iemand zegt, ik wil met je praten, wil dat soms zeggen dat er een probleem is. Als je goed Engels kunt, bijna zoiets als: I want to have a word with you. Je kan beter zeggen: Ik wil met je babbelen, converseren, of ik wil een praatje maken.
