In the past, I finished my first lesson via skype. We discussed the materiel about internet dating. Actually, I met my girl friend girlfriend in on the internet. We live in the close same area, so I think the internet is a convenience convenient way to find new friends.

It was sad because that we can't could not finish my lesson with because of the bad internal quality.

   also, Instead of saying In the past. I would Probably say something like

   yesterday, I finished my first lesson via skype.
