simple definition how notice the difference between arabic nouns and verbs

this's not whole answer
it's a quote from my reply to sister Aritagardner
just so you know :)

Arabic is a bit different not like English :)
you can't notice the difference between verbs and nouns via the form of the word or something like this
so how you notice the difference between them
ok you can by understanding
I mean you should ask some questions
1.Can I add the sound 'onn' in the last of the word if you add to a word sound 'onn' and still gives you a correct meaning you can say that this word is noun (i mean when we add 'sound ''onn'' the meaning of the word don't change or deform )
but the problem how you know that the word +'oon'' is a correct word in arabic. I will say there is 3 solutions the first is listening the 2ed is listening 3ed is listening :)
there are other cases they can make you notice the difference between the noun and verb i will talk about them later but all cases need you to be good A good listener ...
how to know that a word is correct so i have to apply the rule..
.you should be able to reply correctly about one simple question. that question is :
did I heard this word before if yes so I will apply the rule if not correct I won't
this's my simple Strategy and other things i will explain it later with my students later ....
