I'm trying to learn English to be able to write a book blog. My current knowledge allows me to read somewhat complex novels, which is fantastic, but, on the other hand, it takes me a long time to write a single sentence. To say nothing of my spoken English!
Sad thing of being able to read a language but no write/speak it? It makes interacting nearly impossible, unless you find a very patient interlocutor :(
Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. I also enjoy British TV, Fiona Apple's music and everything even remotely related to Jane Austen.
