First notebook entry: Introducing myself

My name is Joana. I am Portuguese (from Portugal) but my family moved to England when I was 7 and then I moved to America in my 20's. I speak pretty fluent Portuguese but make mistakes and as they say "use it or lose it" so I'm hoping to find someone I can talk in Portuguese to, to practice. I'm also trying to teach my 11 year old son to speak it and would love some help with that.

I'm very laid back, fun, active and my general outlook on life is to live in the here and now, be happy, be kind, help others, have fun......
