It’s hard to please a teenage daughter

She called me loudly to help her comb her hair this morning. I answered: “Now it’s Winter Holiday, you should do this by yourself.” I thought of our deal during her semester that she would comb her hair by herself when she was in her holiday. “No, I don’t have any time, and I have still had a paper to work on before I go to my teacher’s home. Hurry up, mom!” Ok, I put down my work at hand to help her. “Ouch, you hurt me!” “I am not on purpose! Anyway, you should do it by yourself.” “You don’t see I have had no time? You just did it on purpose!”

Last week, she made a comment towards my parenting: “Mom, you are not a good mother, since you have never beaten me!” I couldn’t think of anything to say……

Anyway, I want to complaint about this a little bit this morning.

That is so well written, Fan.  The meaning of your words are very clear and convey much feeling.  I see someone has already corrected your text.  I am sure the person that helped you forgot to mention your last sentence:

Anyway, I want to complaint.......  - "to complain"  is the correct infinitive.

[Excellent work.  Once you have a teenager in the house, you will become an idiot and terribly old-fashioned and out of touch for a few years..  You will not begin to be intelligent again until they reach the age of 19 or so.  Sad, but true.]
