エゴイストのサボテン

古い写真を見て、サボテンの昔の姿を見かけました。

今サボテンは窓の下にあります。

私の子供のころ、そのサボテンは20センチぐらいセンチでした。

今は117ぐらいセンチになりました。

117センチ

or 120センチぐらい

because at least in our sense,

the difference 3cm in 120cm is very small in daily life

and we just add "approximately" to the figure.

if you would say 117cm, people think

that you carefully measured it.

大きくなったですなりましたよ！
サボテンの生殖の様式は栄養繁殖ですね。

サボテンは種子を作らずにふえます。

(栄養繁殖 is just a technical term,

which most of people are not familiar with)

親のふくれあがった一部を切り取って植えます。

(actually difficult to translate or make an explanation of it ... orz)

でもそのサボテンはエゴイストですよ。

子を産みません。

切り取る部分がありません。
