First notebook entry: Introducing myself

I am learning Sinhala because it's my native language and I'm proud of my country. I left Sri Lanka in July 1993 and have never been back. There are too many sad memories, but I want to learn Sinhala. I live and work in England, am a hotel receptionist and enjoy swimming, reading and cycling.
