fdmaxey made some good corrections, so I'll copy his corrections here and add a few more.

Nowadays I am studying with story books, such as Cinderella and Ivan the Fool. 
You can guess, sentences in the books are easy and short, so they are understandable to me, but mostly not whole things. 

I think, it may be my lack of grammar knowledge or the lack of understanding for the mother tongue of English people. 

Can you help me? Especilly English people's thoughts from their culture, history,and etc.
