First notebook entry: Introducing myself
Wo san tian zai Zhong guo jia. Wo xue xi Yingwen (ESOL / TESOL). Zhe qian wo xue xi Adobe de ruan jian.

I have been living and working in China for the last 3 years teaching English as a second language (ESOL / TESOL). Before that I guided students in learning various Adobe software along with basic principals in Graphic Design.
My mandarin is fluent enough that I can deal with many day-to-day tasks. Although I recognize a number of characters, I still need a lot of work reading and writing.
We studied Spanish in high school. I recognize enough words to get the gist of what people are speaking about, but my mumblings are very basic.
