1. 我的名字是Diamond.我是学生 shoud be "我的名字是Diamond，(我)是学生。"

Actually, in "我是学生", 我 is not necessary but it's ok to write 我.

*「我的名字是...」There's another way to say this sentence: 「我叫...」

2. 我17岁。我是从NewYork来。 In Chinese, you can put these 2 sentences into 1.

Like,  我17岁，从NewYork来。

*In Traditional Chinese, NewYork is 纽约.

3. If you want to show your respect to a person, you use "您". But when you meet a classmate or a coworker in the first time, it's better to use "你".

* In「您从哪里来？」, 您 is not necessary but it's ok to write 您.

我的名字是Diamond，(我)是学生。我17岁，从NewYork来。您从哪里来？
