Looking forward to taking the B1 test

This week I applied for the B1 certificate in the state Language School in my town. I actually wanted to do it last year, but I didn't feel prepared at all, so I waited another year. I've been practicing English almost every day along this year and now I feel confident enough to take it and pass it properly.

Once I've passed the exam I'll be given a certificate that is only accepted in Spain. For that reason I want to take the First certificate of the University of Cambridge, so that I could work and study abroad, especially in Europe.

The exam is split up into four parts: writing comprehension, writing expression, oral comprehension and oral expression. I think the last one is the most difficult, because to practice it you need a person to talk to, and it can be difficult if one studies on his own.

I’ll take the written part of the exam at the end of May and the oral part another day that I don’t know because it has to be decided by the teachers of the school.
