I am ill

One of teachers' a teacher's (needs indefinite article 'a' and 'one' clearly makes it singular) worst nightmares is being ill. And, I am right now. My throat is painful sore (sore is what we say, I guess 'painful' is almost ok, but I think painful implies movement perhaps) and my voice is hoarse. :(
