First notebook entry: Introducing myself

I am learning German, because I want to read Thomas Mann's Buddenbrooks - Verfall einer Familie in the original. My native language is Portuguese, I grew up in Brazil, and I can speak a little French and Spanish as Fremdsprachen. I enjoy litterature and politics.
