First notebook entry: Introducing myself

I'm learning English , because I want to meet/make new friends from different countries and maybe work in Great Britain.
My native language is Ukrainian, but most people in my country speak in Russian, so and I am no exception/different.
I enjoy music (my favorite genre is post-punk, indie, sometimes screemo), art history, sometimes drawing (I attended art school), but most of all I like to write. Currently I am studying in at school. My favorite subjects are chemistry and biology. I want to travel more, to expand my horizons and, have more new experiences and interesting acquaintances and in the future perhaps friends.

Annie your written English is excellent!  The corrections are minor.  I have suggested alternative words but the words you have chosen are correct and would be used by native speakers, what I have written are simply alternate suggestions.  Bravo!
