First notebook entry: Introducing myself

One of my new years resolution is to learn a new language. I chose French as I intend to be in Europe in summer of 2015 to watch the Rugby world cup and also take the opportunity to visit some of the beautiful cities and apart from English, French is also one of the languages that will come in handy.
I grew up and still presently live on the beautiful Fiji, an island country in the South Pacific. I'm an indigenous and we have our own language, however English is also the official language.
I enjoy being with my loved ones, a good read and my Fiji Bitter (Fiji's very own beer).
I look forward to this French learning journey!!
