今天我跟Brett 讨论了一些他不懂的词语。我就想把它们贴出来，看一下我给他的解释是否正确，也希望更加专业的人可以补充。而正在学习中文的人也可以知道一些新的东西。当然你也可以帮助我修改我的英文。

Today, Brett and I talked about some words that he didn't understand.I would love for you to check whether my explanations were correct or not. I hope there are some more professionals people specialists who can comment further. do some additions. For those studying Chinese, I hope you can learn something new from this. :) Of course, you can also help me to correct my English.

1.挤破头 jǐ pò tóu
我觉得，就是很努力的做某事。 它适用于“非常激烈的竞争中”
例子： 他挤破头也要拿到Taylor Swift 的演唱会门票。

2.专业 zhuān yè
①major
例子：你是学什么专业？
②professional specialist
例子：这个教授真专业。

3.炒鱿鱼 chǎo yóu yú
① fire someone! or dismiss terminate their services somebody from office.炒鱿鱼的意思就是”辞退某人。“
②一种食物。 stir fried squid.

4.大大咧咧 dà dà liē liē
Brett gave me this example:别看他平时大大咧咧，工作起来却一点儿也不含糊。
Maybe he is often careless, or thoughtless. However, Don't assume that just because he is sloppy at doing things, for when he is working, he is totally focusing focused on his work. [Translation from the Chinese wording.  Here sloppy means that he does not concentrate on what he is doing and is being careless/non-chalant] 

大大咧咧用来形容做事不仔细。不在乎细节。
