أفكر بعمل جديد،

you can't say عن you can only say في عمل or بعمل and both of them give almost the same meaning

anyway if you said عن عمل I will understand you but I will know immediately that you are not Arabic :)

و لكن إذا حصلت على العمل

your sentence is correct but it's better to say that way

يجب ان انتقل إلى مدينة أخر،

يجب أن أنتقل إلى مدينة أخرى

I have to move to another city

يجب أن أنتقل إلى مكان آخر

I have to move to another place

notice, the word أخرى  is feminine and the word مدينة is feminine also.

the word مكان is masculine and the word آخر is masculine too and the first letter of the word آخر it's not hamzah, it's maddah, which means you have to linger it when pronounce it
