A girl from italki

My colleagues and I had a cup of tea with a girl who had contacted me on italki. She has been studying Czech in Prague.

I was impressed with what she has managed in a couple of weeks.

I hope that she enjoyed talking with us – we spoke in Czech and Russian but because we wanted her to practice Czech, we preferred to talk in (for clarity) Czech.

I guess she will be fluent in Czech soon. She was not afraid to speak and ask questions. We understood everything she said.

We will see each other again soon (word order).

That is really cool! She had only been learning Czech for a few weeks and she was already great at communicating? I wish I was that good at learning! It must have been fun for you to have spoken with a learner like that. What was her native language?
