This is what I learned:

ilang taon ka na? = How old are you?
ako ay tatlompu walong taong gulang = I am 30 years old

ako ay isang computer programmer = I am a computer programmer

ako ay nagtatrabaho bilang computer programmer = I am working as a computer programmer

saan sa pilipinas nakatira ang iyong pamilya = Where in the Philippines does your family live?

sino ang pilipino sa pamilya mo? = Who is filipino in your family?

ilang taon na kayo kasal? = How many years are you married?

When Pronouncing Filipino vowels:
a - "ahhhh"
e - "eeehh"
i - "eeeee"
o - "ooooo"
u - "ooooh"

taon = year

gusto kong mag-gitara = I like to play guitar

kailan ka natutong mag-gitara? = When did you learn to play guitar?

noong bata pa ako = early childhood / young

mayroon = have
mayroon ka bang gitara? = do you have a guitar?

mayroon akong tatlong gitara = I have three guitars

maliban = aside
maliban sa gitara = aside from guitar

mag = "to"
mahirap = poor or hard
hairap bang mag-scuba diving? = is it hard to scuba dive?

oo = yes
hindi = no
bakit? = why?

nakkapagod = tiring
pagod = tired
mga = turns words into plural
maga gamit - things/equipment

I also counted from 1 to 50 and talked about my job.
ano ang trabaho mo? = what is your job?
ako ay isang guro = I am a teacher
magtrabaho sa bahay = work at/from home
masarap pagkain = yummy food
