每逢佳节胖三斤

Wang Wei, a poet in of the Tang Dynasty era wrote a famous poem which used to express the feeling of missing someone or family members their families. Here's are the sentences the poem, "独在异乡为异客，每逢佳节倍思亲". It means, if you were a lonely stranger in a foreign land, you'll may always miss missing your family during festivals at the Festival period.

But nowadays, the younger generation people changed exchange this sentence the second line into "每逢佳节胖三斤". It is ridiculous. In people's eyes, no matter what festival it is, eating is the most important thing. After the festival, almost everyone seems to have gained weight a little bit fatter than before.
