A day in my life as I still was a child
One day at elementary school the whole class visited the forest. The forest official already waited there for us to show us the trees. We learned a lot about the different kind of trees, their names and how to recognize them. But he also told us of a big problem trees are facing these days: the forest dying. The trees die because of environmental pollution mainly produced by cars, lorries, farming and industry but also because of salt which was brought onto the streets in winter for reason of keeping them ice free. That salt ruined the soil in the forest, so that the trees got ill and died. I was about 7 or 8 when this happened and I hope that the trees are at least a little healthier nowadays.
Kind Regards

Hello Lorenz:
That is a very competent autobiographical account. I found nothing at all to change or censure.
In fact, I read with great interest your account of the field trip at school, because it is always fascinating to study the honest experience that people have had as a child.
Thank you for publishing this account here. I look forward with great interest to see more of what you can share. ---Warm Regards, Bruce
