I need to write some essays for my english lessons, so can you help me correcting them?!

Sometimes it is hard to reach a goal because there are a many steps before you get there. But to fail in some of these steps is not a reason for to be discouraged 
An example that could encourage you is Thomas Edison. He is an excellent example of persistence. He had a hard time in school, but always kept a creative mind. He changed to study at home where he read a lot and conducted experiments. Some failed, but he didn't give up.

Today, he is know as the man who brought electric light to the world.
