Ethiopia has Amazing Traditions. (Culture is language, dress, holidays, and all the things that go into day to day life. A tradition is a specific activity or holiday that is repeated over time. Traditions are part of a culture.)
Ethiopia has three different unique traditions. First, Ethiopia has Owen traditional culture. It’s has a different ceremony to make coffee. One person makes the coffee and it takes two hours. Ethiopia has traditional handmade dresses. The dresses are white in color and have different colored designs on them. When they go to church or on a holiday, people have to wear the dresses. Ethiopia foods are spicy. Ethiopian people eat by hand and all family members eat together off one big plate. If someone comes to your house, even without invitation, you have to invite them inside and offer them food and drink. Second, Ethiopian people are very respectful. Young people have to be respectful to older people. For example, if you are sitting on the bus, or anywhere else, when an older person comes you have to stand up and greet them. If you know that person you first put your head down and kiss them on the check more than three times. Finally, Ethiopia has its own alphabet. The alphabet has 126 letters and one letter has seven different sounds . The order of the alphabet is so unique and beautiful.
