How to say correctly in English?
"I will call him" or "I will call to him"? Is it necessary to add a preposition before "him"?
Both "I will call him" and "I will call to him" can be correct, but are used in different situations. "I will call him" is used when you want to contact someone on the phone. But you can "call to" someone when the person is far away, or when you are not sure that the other person is there or will hear you. Examples: "I need to attract Peter's attention, but he's a kilometer away. So I will call to him as loud as I can." "John was lost in the woods, so I called to him, hoping he would answer."
"I will call him" or "I will call to him"? Is it necessary to add arlicle before "him"?
I will call him. / I´ll call him.
Well I´m not sure if or what meaning could be "to him", but is wrong from my point of view.
