Benım adım Linnea. Ben yirimi bir yaşındayım ve Kanada'liyim. Türkçeyi <em>(You are refering to the object "Türkçe" when using the verb "konuşmak"-> Transive usage. Thus the object takes an accusative suffix. Notice that the language names are not sperated by apostrophe or writen seperate than suffixes)</em> seviyorum, ama (konuşmayı) bilmiyorum /(çok fazla konuşamıyorum).

There are some exeptions regarding the case endings.
Example 1: Türkçe konuş-abil-iyor musun? (Türkçe is the object , konuşabilmek is the verb, however, no suffixes)
Example 2: Türkçeyi sev-iyorum. (Türkçe is the object , sevmek is the verb)
Example 3: Türkçe konuş-ma-yı sev-iyorum. (Türkçe konuşma is the object of this sentence. It is a noun. Also "Türkçe konuşmak" is the verbal form. Sevmek is the verb)
It is about the verb used with the object and the consequent meanining with and without the suffix.

Some advice
0. I am upset about my bad english, i try to learn :(
1. When you say where from no use capital letter because when you add -lıyım/luyum/-liyim ect. to city or country whose name after that is not a proper name.
Kanada is a proper name . Capital letter
kanadalıyım is a general name. small letter
2. If you add a affix to proper name, you use an apostrophe (').
3. 'ama' use is in its proper place. ama's mean is but, however....
(-) negative idea ama (+) possitive idea
(+) possitive idea ama (-) possitive idea
