How I would like to use italki
I am 13 and do my education at home now while in Penang. I am busy with that during the day. I have a Chinese tutor who comes to my home and I do my own work in English and Spanish like Chemistry, Geometry, Algebra, writing, piano, violin, song writing and reading classic books etc. I have fun classes that I go to like drama, volley ball, nature study and choir.
I am hoping to find some great friends on italki ( mostly girls please as my parents think it is safer that way) and do an exchange every day around 5pm or the early evening after dinner.
I prefer to help someone with Spanish talking for half the time and then someone to converse with me in Mandarin and help me with that to get stronger. I am beginning 4th grade Mandarin reading and writing, but I need to speak it more.
I need to talk Spanish more too, but I do talk to my friends on skype in Spain and my friends in California on facetime.
I can help with English too if I can't find enough Mandarin speakers who want Spanish.
I could have a different friend every day. Like perhaps one named "jane" on every Monday at 5pm and one named "kitty" every Tuesday at 5pm etc.
Then we can get to know each other as we help each other. Over time we would learn and have fun as we get to know each other and discuss fun things like travel, books, music etc.
Who wants to do that with me?
ps. the photo is one of me in Bhutan when I climbed to the famous Tigers Nest...a cool adventure!
