It’s me, Sherab Wangyal, who was born in Dolpa, the a remote Himalayan area very near to the Nepal-Tibet border, where there is are no schools. So in 1997, at the age of nine, my father sent me to study in India. I did my primary and secondary studies in CST Dholanji in Himachal Pradesh India. After that, in the year 2007, I came to CUTS, Varanasi for my further studies. At present (Until now?) I have completed my first Shastri first exam.
During my leisure time/spare time in school and high school, I have been practicing the art of painting at my leisure time. Being a the son of a thanka artist, the art of painting was born in me. Art became has been my hobby since from my childhood. I have experienced of both traditional as well as contemporary art, but usually I do contemporary. I have experience of in wall painting, oil painting, watercolor painting etc. I had contributed my time to the painting of two monasteries too..
But I would like to say that I am more of a self-trained artist than a professional artist. I believe that I can do something new through by making my own experiments. So that I’m always trying something new and I'm hoping for rays of hope to shine.
If you promote art in your exhibition, it would be my first step towards into the world of art. It could lead me towards success..
That’s all about me, the lone dweller..
Real name Sherab Wangyal, but friends call me Sherab Nyingpo and I call myself (DIKPARAZA)

hope this helps!
