Bad Day Today was really a bad day! I attended a seminar, and one of speakers called my name in the middle of the event. She asked me to share my experience learning in an "English village". It was supposed to be easy, wasn't it? However, I'm a shy person and not used to speak in front of public. Well, I don't like speaking in front of a lot of people at all. Moreover, my lecturers and a native speaker are there too. I felt so nervous that I lost my words. I forgot the grammar, vocab, etc! :( I was really embarrassed! I just felt like running away from the event. Well, but I don't want to give up. I hope I can learn something from this bad experience. I have to practice more so that I'll get used to speak in front of public.

-This is very well-written. Your speaking will get better with practice.

-It is more natural to say "in public" or "in front of people" than "in front of the public".

Well your notebook entry is really good, and I wish I could get to that level in Spanish. Speaking in front of groups makes me nervous, even when it's in my mother tongue and I've had time to prepare. You didn't even know you'd be speaking, so I think it's a great step that you took!
