Bad Day
Today was really a bad day!
I attended a seminar, and one of the speakers called my name in the middle of the event. She asked me to share my experience learning in an "English village".
It was supposed to be easy, wasn't it?
However, I'm a shy person and not used to speaking in front of public. Well, I don't like speaking in front of a lot of people at all. Moreover, my lecturers and a native speaker were there too.
I felt so nervous that I lost my words. I forgot the grammar, vocab, etc! :(
I was really embarrassed! I just felt like running away from the event.
Well, but I don't want to give up. I hope I can learn something from this bad experience.
I have to practice more so that I'll get used to speaking in front of people.
-This is very well-written. Your speaking will get better with practice.
-It is more natural to say "in public" or "in front of people" than "in front of the public".
